The best airplane conversation I've ever had.
(I have the window seat. A thirty something year-old man in a sweet 1990's windbreaker sits down in the aisle seat, and sees me leaning against the seat ahead of me.)
Aisle seat dude: "Hey."
Me: "Hey, man."
Aisle seat dude: "How are you?"
Me: "Tired. You?"
Aisle seat dude (apparently surprised that I answered so honestly): "Hungry."
(We both laugh.)
(Another gentleman sits down in between us.)
(A brief moment passes. Then he leans forward and waves.)
